Why “Angels & Demons”?
Humph...as usual Plato was one of the first to talk about it in the “myth of Er” at the end of “The Republic”... Demon perceived as our companion who guide us through life and who holds in his hands our destiny; but the Christian tradition too, has this very powerful figure of the “Angel”, one of the very many “archetypes” of Jung genius; both these figures are somehow related to the idea of a “Guiding Spirit” who shockingly determine our existence but of whom it seems we have mysteriously forgotten all about, sacrificing him on the altar of much more foolish heroes of our time... ...when in the evening shades are falling, when we get deeper and deeper into the magic atmospheres of the night… especially if we can share this with another “Anima” and, why not, maybe with a good bottle of wine, these fantastic Spirits come back to life, flowing all around us... “Spirits having flown” as those lovely Bee Gees souls used to reminiscence about only a few years ago…

“The ‘Call’ can be postponed, eluded, or even lost sight. Or else it can own us entirely. It doesn’t matter: eventually it will come out. The “Daimon” doesn’t abandon us. For centuries, we’ve been looking for the right word to express this type of “vocation” or call; Latins used to talk about “genius”, Greeks about “Daimons” and Christians about “Custodial Angel”.
